Wis design

Wis design got my attention a couple of years ago with their peekabo-style kitchen, "Gallery" (last photo). I love their new benches, "Croquet", so pure and cute.

Maxim Velcovsky

The Czech designer, Maxim Velcovsky, did this beautiful installation for Austrian glass dynasty Lobmeyr last year.
Using chandelier parts he found in the company's archive, he arranged them in light boxes to create the skylines of London, New York, Moscow and Medina.
So magical, right?

Crazy sofa, Cipria, designed by Fernando Campana & Humberto Campana for Edra. Looks like cotton candy bonanza! I actually like this one...Below is a cool photo, by artist Daniela Edburg, "Death by cotton candy". It looks like one of my nightmares!

Hay has just launched this new and fabulous shelving system, called Woody. Being a girl in love with pastels  and wood- this is too perfect for me!

Love the photo the selby has taken of designer duo BCXSY. Their design is really direct and playful. If you have a garden, that swing lamp is a must have!

I'm really not a sofa person, for rest and relaxation I like it best if I can sit with my back straight on a diningchair. However...I would be easily persuaded to the land of sofa loving people if I could get my hands on one of these mamas! My first true love was Doshi Leviens Charpoy daybeds (top right), and the Asia-inspired Mah Jong lounge (bottom right), designed by Hans Hopfer for Roches Bobois. But if I was to get a ridiculous sum of money today, it would be neck to neck between the funky pumpkin sofa, designed by Pierre Paulin. Or the soft looking Doshi Leviens My beautiful backside (top left).

Madsen cargo bikes

Hello!! How about these easy breezy cargo bikes from Madsen cycles? How can a huge bucket on the back of a bike look this great!?? This would be good for my flea market-bonanzas, I would be able to buy a lot more, and whistle my way back home! yay!!

It's a classic

The stylish and timeless paulistano chair by Paolo Mendes da Rocha, was designed in 1957 as part of the Paulistano Athletic Club in Sao Paolo, his very first masterpiece. De Rocha won the prestigious pritzker award in 2006.
