Mari Boine

Words cannot describe how much I love this Norwegian artist. The new album from the sami superwoman Mari Boine will most definitely be my autumn favourite.

Blue hue

The Danish Chef Claus Meyer's beautiful blue and brown Kitchen. Love the linoleum tile flooring. From BoBedre.

Douglas Coupland

The author Douglas Coupland's home looks like one big art installation. Plus he apparently loves Eames as much as I do. This home makes me jealous!

Richard Powers

A bundle of interior clippings from the oh-so-fabulous photographer Richard Powers. (see also the previous Autoban-post)

The Turkish design firm Autoban is definitely one of my favourites. I love their use of wood and natural colours. The lamp in the middle is called Big, and the bottom picture is of their latest design a lounge chair called Nest.
Top photo by Richard Powers , an Autoban-designed apartment. Perfect in every way.

Shaken and stirred

You know when you need a new piece of furniture, you get obsessed until to you find the right one. Well, I'm looking for the perfect shelving system to hold tons of books and stuff. I rummaged trough my treasure chest of old magazine clippings (yes, I do tear up the magazines..) This is one of my favourite apartments of all interior-magazine-time. And much because of that fabulous wall shelving. Top two photos from Adriana and Fredric Barra's  place in Sao Paulo. Photo: Nathalie Krag.
It's the Treme Treme (shake) shelving system, from Sao Paulo based  architects Triptyque, the most beautiful shelving system I've ever seen..
Does anyone know how to get these in Europe?....I'm obsessed!
